Full-time, Temporary  
 
Guide a team of undergraduate students in the 3D process, expanding the artistic vision, and integrating the web & social networking presence for a "serious game" (currently funded by the United Nations Population Fund). The main goal of the project is to apply game and emergent technologies to build awareness and generate social change around the problem of violence against women. Develop and implement technical solutions to effectively and efficiently support the creation of high quality creative content across multiple game platforms. Define and communicate technical best practices for the creative content staff. Ensure the highest technical standards for creative content development, primarily as it relates to art and animation production for various game platforms and web applications. Act as a liaison between the creative content staff and the programming team, establishing collaborative relationships, technical workflow, and tools that optimize production efficiencies between the groups. Communicate technical aspects of creative content production to other groups within the organization.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have strong artistic 3D and programming skills and be fluent at both art programs and scripting languages. This position requires a highly communicative and proactive problem-solver, able to work with cross-functional student teams to improve the entire content development process. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required with at least 2-4 years experience preferred. The finalist must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with student teams. Some travel may be required.


Additional Information:

This position is currently funded through December 31, 2009 with a possibility for full-time, regular employment.
