Job Description:
2 Positions available.
The Division of Information Technology and Sciences at Champlain College seeks an engaged faculty member to teach courses in the Information Assurance and Technology Department with a focus on the Computer & Digital Forensics major. The successful candidate would be responsible for instruction in computer and digital forensics and information security courses, starting August 2010. We are interested in candidates who can work within a team-oriented faculty and with strong project-based curricula. The candidate will teach primarily on campus, with some online classes. Responsibilities include primarily undergraduate instruction (possibly some graduate level), course development, student advising, community and industry outreach, and student project supervision.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has industry experience and a Ph.D. in Information Technology or a related field and digital forensics work experience. (Candidates with a Masters degree in a relevant field and extensive experience in Computer & Digital Forensics will be considered.) The candidate should be able to teach courses in multiple majors within the Division, if needed. Rank will be determined based on qualifications of the successful candidate.
