Spring 2010
Course Description: This course provides an introductory understanding of the myriad of topics related to networking, ranging from local and wide area networks to the Internet, web servers and services, TCP/IP and network security. Topics will focus on relevant issues, while providing a historical context and a glimpse into emerging/future technologies. The broad survey coverage of this course teaches basic concepts and terminology that will prepare students to gain in-depth understanding in later courses, professional experiences, and outside reading and activities.
Requirements:
Master's degree is required and prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
